Hope Hope is defined as a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen; in general it means a desire for things to change for the better, and to want that better situation very much. There's a feeling of hope in the air as spring has arrived, flowers are peeking up from the ground and the grass is starting to get green again; birds are scoping out places to nest; kids are playing outside again. Several of us got our first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this past week and I don't know about you, but I thought I was going to cry. It's the first sign that things might one day soon get back to some semblance of normalcy. There is an end in sight, which means a new beginning for most of us and hope, glorious hope for a brighter future. We have missed so many things this past year. Some of you may have lost friends and family members. Our hearts sincerely go out to you. If you were lucky, your family and friends remained close and in your "pods" and you could see them occasionally. Some of us may have felt trapped and lonely. Some of us may have continued to go about our lives as best we could by following all the recommended safety protocols. And hopefully most of us and those we love have stayed healthy throughout this ordeal. We hope you'll take a moment to share with us what you missed most during this challenging year, what gives you hope, and what you are most looking forward to as we round this corner. We are so looking forward to meeting up with you in person once everyone feels safe and we can gather to pursue our passions of celebrating women and creating fine art photography. Our planning will soon be underway! Take care and stay safe everyone! Happy Spring!
